Shopping blues
A recent post on my babes site enspired me to this post.
There it is stated that shopping for make-up is a hatred thing, almost as bad as having to find a new bra, pair of jeans or swimsuit. And don´t I KNOW what that means!
Unbelievably, but true, I have been searching for the perfect jeans since april! (That was the month when my favorite pair of jeans started to disolve). And having put myself to a spending limit of $250, you would think this is an easy task. But no!! Either the jeans had the extrordinary price of $400 (and up), had a not-so-perfect-fit (even though the label states differently) or they just looked like sh.... I tried all sorts of trendy brands, i.e. seven, true religion, rock&republic, acne etc. and so on. Out of frustration I bought a pair which I now hardly wear. It will most likely rot in my closet until it will be handed to the red cross or the salvation army.
Of course, I could just go and buy the same brand as I had before. But I thought I needed a change. I WANTED a change. Something new and fresh.*
So now, almost three month later I still don´t have a new hot pair of jeans. Nor do I have a clue of where to find it. I guess that is the price one has to pay for too much vanity...
*Especially now, since things are not working out so well with the new job. Which I didn´t know at the time I started the search. Which should not be relevant in such decisions anyway.

Style has it's price! :P Since I'm poor, I have NO STYLE! If it makes you feel any better, I can't find a cute pair of jeans. They don't seem to make cute jeans for people with short legs *sigh*
Umm, is that 250 Euros?
Oooo, sorry to hear about the new job.
No need to be sorry. I still feel comfortable with what I am doing. Even though it might not be something extrodinary...
And babe, you´ve got style! And let me ensure you, i see enough rich people who have NO STYLE whats-o-ever. Style is something you have or have-not, it is nothing you can´t buy. (Wow, ain´t that a philosophical thought at this time of the day...)
Oh yeah right AM, those jeans looked grand on you! And fall off your a.., my a... There is no a.. they can fall off from!
No. No new job after all. More hours in the old job. Which is OK!
BTW: it would be really stupid to come visit now. It´s only a week ´till your flying to 'good old europe'. Remember??? Or trying to forget 'cause of your travel route ;)
How much is that in American dollars? I don't know my conversions :I I think jeans in general are too expensive. You shouldn't have to spend over $29.99 and they should fit like a glove.
