Future plans

Oh, planning your vacations for the coming up year can be so annoying! At htis time of year I hate the fact that I have 6 weeks payed (!) vacation. All those things one has to consider: where to go, when to go, day-care vacation etc.
So you sit down with your hubby, better-half or what ever you want to call him, who also has 6 weeks vacation to plan, think it all out, just to find out that certain times don´t work out because your co-workers want to take their vacation at the same time! So you sit down with them to work it out, are all happy and then?!? Most certain the new plans will colide with HIS co-workers...
In the end you will end up with off days you don´t want, and don´t need.
Of course once you thought it all through, you most likely will find out that the dates are just wonderful, they couldn´t be better and you feel all happy. That´s the point where you thank the german government and social system for the 6 weeks payed vacation. If not then, latest when you are on your holiday, laying on a white sandy beach, lots of sunshine with a drink in your hand... payed by your company ;)
